Appendicitis is a medical condition when the appendix gets inflamed. It usually occur when the worm-like organ (appendix) that’s attached to the large intestines, gets inflamed which might probably burst later on, if not treated by removing it through surgical means.
However, removing the inflamed appendix doesn’t cause any side issues for the body. Moreover, it’s often seen as a green ticket to eat anything one desires! The medical surgery process is a fast one, without any side effects, if no severe damage has been done already. Otherwise, it becomes a life threatening situation, if a burst has occurred.
If you notice these 5 symptoms, visit a doctor at the next available ‘flight.’ There’s an high chance you have appendicitis. Don’t be caught unawares.
Pain in the navel
Appendix inflammation can come in the form of pain around the navel area, while moving to the lower right side of your stomach. Most especially, if the pain get worse with cough, and bumpy movement around the stomach, you should visit your doctor immediately.
Fever and rising temperature
Quite often, the inflammation of the appendix (appendicitis) come along with extreme fever, rigor and severe pain, thereby making movement almost impossible. If you notice this, don’t hesitate to visit your DOCTOR!
Severe pain in the lower abdomen
With each passing interval of time, if the pain gets more severe around the abdomen. Or, if it becomes so severe, that it’s almost crippling, more especially with every movement, you’re likely to have appendicitis. Visit your doctor ASAP!
Nausea and Vomiting
If you’re experiencing nausea, general loss of appetite, and vomiting. If you notice this, with low right side abdominal pain, then it’s high time to visit a medical expert, especially if it gets worse with each passing day.
Softness on the abdomen
If you touch the lower right of your stomach, and feel some pain when releasing the pressure, then it’s necessary for you to request for medical help, as it’s very that you have appendicitis. If you notice this pain, DO NOT try touching that part of your stomach, afterwards.
